Scott Dunlap Chairman of the Board, Founder & CEO As CEO of NearbyNow, Inc., Scott brings over 15 years of experience in developing new Internet technologies to strengthen retailer connections with customers. At E.piphany, Inc., his product management team developed data mining and marketing technology to help retailers such as Charles Schwab, Microsoft, and Godiva better target and grow their customers. Later he joined the founding team of Loudcloud (now Opsware: OPSW) to operate and manage some of the largest e-commerce sites in the world for companies like Nike, Fannie Mae, Univision, and USA Today. At Avolent, he helped develop e-billing software to streamline customer interactions for companies such as Dell, Office Depot, and Xerox. He also founded 4charity.com (sold to Innovaware) to develop technology to assist non-profit companies in online fundraising. Scott is on the Board of Advisors for Reactrix and Coverity. Scott holds a B.S. from the University of Oregon, and an M.B.A. from Stanford University. |

John Heltzel VP, Business Development As VP, Business Development, John leads the charge in building strategic partnerships which drive traffic and revenue through search engines, shopping engines and technology companies focusing on an increasingly mobile world. John brings over 16 years experience in building successful companies. Prior to joining NearbyNow, John lead the west coast business development team for Zix Corporation (SaaS company) and was instrumental in closing significant OEM deals and strategic alliances for Entrust. Earlier in his career, he built high growth partner programs focused on mobile users for SkyTel, drove significant revenue as a Product Manager at Qualix (acquired by Legato) and managed Fortune 500 customer accounts at Silicon Graphics. John holds a B.A. in International Economics from UCLA and an M.B.A. from UCLA Anderson School of Management. |

Mark Dixon VP, Product Management Mark brings over 15 years of experience in technology and organizational leadership. His teams have consistently delivered market-leading products, which have received accolades from the Mobile World Congress, International Design Excellence Awards, Forrester, and more. He previously served as Vice President of Product Management and Marketing at Sharpcast where he drove the delivery of an award-winning product that synchronizes a user's data across all of their devices. Prior to Sharpcast, he was Director of Product Management at Avolent where he helped the company grow market share and achieve leadership status in the e-billing software category. Earlier in his career, Mark worked at Loudcloud, M.I.T. Lincoln Laboratories, A.T. Kearney, and I.B.M. Mark holds a B.S. from the University of Virginia, and an M.B.A. from Stanford University. |

Leonid Blyukher VP, Engineering Leonid Blyukher leads technology teams at NearbyNow and is responsible for software development, operations, and quality assurance. Leonid brings more than 13 years of experience in technology, focusing on fast growing startup companies. He joined NearbyNow from Yousendit, a rapidly growing SaaS digital content delivery provider where he served as VP of Engineering. Before that Leonid was at ZEDO, a San Francisco-based ad serving company, where he served as VP Engineering, eCommerce. Prior, Leonid headed a team at Walmart.com tasked with integrating rapidly growing Walmart.com site with Walmart Corporate systems. The Walmart.com site was based on eCommerce platform developed by HomeWareHouse.com, where Leonid was one of the original architects. Earlier in his career he developed enterprise software applications for Fortune 500 companies, including Wells Fargo, PG&E, and Charles Schwab. Leonid holds Master and Bachelor degrees in information technology and computer science from the Odessa Polytechnic Institute, Ukraine and San Francisco State University. |
